This is not the topic, but I'd like to drop by to see your birds, and while were at it sort of get on the same page as to how we are going to judge the birds for the show you ttold me about.

Paul good questions

1 goal is to be the best i can be in whatever direction i choose to go in whether it is Ind. performance kit performance and show performance i want to be well rounded i do not write long drawn out stories i like to get to the point i am more show and tell versus talk and not tell i am trying to understand my birds to the degree to where i can produce some quality roll at a high percentage i have two families which i do not cross and i show both families at shows i also fly both families in comp Ind. and kit so i know both sides of the coin i have seen many many bird fly and have seen some very good ones the bottom line my goal is produce some high quality birds in all of the 3 categories i mention above some guys may think i do not know what i am doing Paul listen i will show and tell in the spring this what i love to do i am trying to bring some of you elder bird guys out of retirement to teach us youngsters what a true spinner should look like so we know what to breed for lol paul 309 is a cornerstone of one piece of my cloth that i am making

Paul we need to talk lol

Here is one that one grand Champion at one show a 15 foot spinner

Nice birds CSRA,
Did you breed both birds, and if so, did you fly them both out before stocking?

I normally breed out of 8 pairs in individual compartments. However, this year I am going to breed out of 15 pairs in an open loft. I just finished building the breeding boxes with wire floors and trays to catch their droppings and fronts from Foys. I have selected my best birds from my A team to the breeding loft. My plan is to get around 70 to 80 youngsters this coming season and be done by end of June since I start the breeding program around mid March. Last year we had sever snow storm in the middle of April that laster for couple of weeks which screwed up the breeding program and was not able to produce more that 30 youngsters. But to my advantage, some of them were very early performers and outstanding thus far.
