first, i'm still new at this, so please excuse the excitement. i've got two kits, one hen, the other cocks flying about 2 weeks after being lockdowned since early november. been pushing them pretty good, and today, i saw something i never have seen before. a slight gust got the hens stalling nice, and all of them broke together at the same time! only 12 birds, but still was amazing. then, they circled again, and did the same thing. i just couldn't believe what i saw, and even though there were only 12 birds in the kit, i felt like i just had to share. there's so much to learn, and so much work in training, that i just never thought i'd ever see it in my yard. too bad my wife couldn't share my excitement, as she looked at me like she didn't know who the hell i was! "yeah, so what?" she said. ok, off the soapbox, and into bed to dream about it. ;-)

its also been a lot of work playing with the amount of feed and its content. when to switch to red wheat/white mile, and for how long. slim them down after lockdown, but not too much. yadda yadda yadda. i swear this is a lot more involved than i thought. luckily, these online forums are visited by a lot of knowledgable flyers whose willingness to help has made a world of difference for me. i thank you all!

yes it turned my birds into power spinners.
They had it before just needed a little help,to unleash their potential. My biggest improvement came after a very aggressive cull. With the help of Two good friends I hope to breed better this year.
