am 59 this year (09), and have been out of pigeons since 1979, due to stupid local laws. however, the bug never left, and even though i tried finches and some other cagebirds, it just wasn't the same. my wife and i recently moved to another town, and this time i made sure i could fly rollers there. i'm happy to have found this site, and hope to gain new friends and much knowledge. i live in Blue Point, NY (Long Island), and got my first 20 bird (Ron Kumro family) kit from Mike Rose who lives in Huntington Station not far from me. he's been great, answering questions and showing me his birds flying. you have no idea (maybe you actually do) how excited i am to return to the hobby i love, especially after such a long absence.
