I am documenting a clutch of young homers from day one of development until they are thirty days old. I figured it might be interesting. I know its been done before but I thought it could be a fun home project.

Here is day one.

Those babies will be bigger than their parents in 20 days. This will be fun.

I purchased the hen from Mike Brown in Ca. And the cock is from the "Shadow Grizzle" Bloodline from Team Catskill USA in Gulfport MS. They are also on their second round now as of yesterday!

I put mine on the floor two days ago and their eating on their own finally. I'm ready for another round. I hope the birds are too. I just gave away two of my best squabs out of the first set, so I need them to hammer it hard this next round and give me some good ones. Good luck with yours this coming season. Let me know how you do.
