I live in Yuba City which is in northern CA and have been in Norhern CA all of my life, I fly in any club or national fly that I can and have done well for the last 4-5 years with my birds in the WC and the fall fly.I have always had the birds I feel to compete well but 5 years ago I made the decision to lock them up over the winter to avoid the hawks and that has really helped me by preserving all of the good birds instead of feeding them to the hawks.I think that is something everyone should consider doing. I have been breeding rollers since 1983. Curently I am working with a line that my god friend Dave Henderson and I built.
