new rookie, the pedigree form you showed is just to help you keep track of your birds and their ancestors. The #1 slot behind your cock and hen is for the band number and description of that bird. The #2 and #3 slots are for the band #s and descriptions of their parents etc. You may not have all of the info on the parents and grandparents of your birds and may just have to start with what you know and leave the rest blank. As you raise a few generations of your own birds their pedigrees will fill in. The blanks at the bottom of the form were for the band numbers and descriptions of the babies raised by the pair listed above. These records help you keep track of your birds and help you decide how to pair them up or split up pairs that don't produce good spinners.
