I am currently feeding a mixture without corn with 15.5% protein. My kit is flying on three levels. A bunch of them are too high; a bunch are just right; and a bunch are too low. Should I go to a single grain to put them all on the same altitude? Any solutions or ideas?

I would put them all on wheat for a week or so and see if they start flying the same. You could have some birds eating nothing but milo (low birds)..some are maybe eating the wheat and some peas for the perfect heighth and so on. Putting them on just wheat may help answer the questions.

Are they all the same age? More Cocks?...Watch them eat and see if you have some slow eaters...or a couple of cocks eating more food. When you are done feeding...just handle the birds and see if they are all getting enough grub...the crops should feel the same.

But I would put my left nut that you have some birds just eating there favorite grain ...and they are all on different fuel LOL!

If you feed straight wheat and they all start coming around..you may have to feed just one grain at a time. Just try one thing at a time and see what happens.
