Scott, I have been breeding towards what I believe, your statement, IS NOT TRUE.. in my birds. You are convinced it is a fault, My 60 yrs of rollers show me ...its not a fault.. to proove it, came the 3 mos of disecting. The findings will send you...back to the"drawing board" quickly ..I AM NOT trying to convince any one that, what i say or my findings are positive proof, But i can assure you ive had no problems, all these yrs.....LEO

Leo.I have bred from a hen like this and I have never seen it in any of her young.I think if you balance the matings it won,t show and won,t be a problem.David

Leo I am trying hard to follow you here , What the heck is it then ? I know it is hereditary , and I know that it debilitates birds with this problem. And I know that there are birds that don't suffer from this fault that have the speed of the birds that do. Why would anyone want this floating arount in their gene pool ? please explain your position here

Scott.Like I said it is a minor fault and if the bird is producing the roll I want and can produce the same in its young by balancing the mating why wouldn,t I breed from it.I am,It is and I am well satisfied with what she is producing. If it shows up again in one of her young I will just breed away from it at that time. But I havn't seen any of her young with the velocity that she had.Actually I wish I had a loft full of this type.I would have a loft full of roll that I like.LOL. And unless you are told that I bred from this red eye you would never know it.David

Leo.You would be surprised at how many of us would appreciate your findings on your research. Some may tear it apart but many would find it useful. Please share it with us.I value your wisdom.Actually you are probably the oldest fellow on here to have rollers as many years as you do.And with that many years behind you it makes you an Expert Roller Fancier in my opinion.David

Leo,

You have been talking about these findings for a very long time. I wish you would just let us all know what the findings are. Who cares if some people rip it apart...A lot of us would like to know. You will not make everyong happy..that is just human nature. You will always have someone who disagrees and someone that agrees....You could have a million people who love the TV show I love Lucy...but then there will be some people who hate it..you can't make everyone happy...Get me drift...Post the info...Or e-mail it to just the people that want to info...I would like to know about the study....IF I myself had any info on Rollers ...I would post it...no matter what..because someone will learn from it.
