Aloha All,I'm in the process of remodeling my stock loft, changing swing doors to sliding doors, and installing new floor systems, and perches, but one thing I have not figured out to my satisfaction is my waterers,I like to keep things simple and perhaps I'm overthinking at times to come up with something, but it just takes to much time to clean waterers twice a day everyday, this would serve 10 to 15 birds per compartment, and opening doors without an aviary twice a day,is an escape plan waiting to be hatched, with some birds I just cant afford to lose, with time closing in for the work to be done,I'm still stumped.I'm fine with pop bottle waterers for my individual breeding pens,I have a double set in a custom built caddy that can be switched out real fast, and the dirty ones can be cleaned when time permits,if popbottle-like waterers, came much larger to serve 10 to 15 birds that would be okay, but I've not seen them larger than the 20oz size, which is to small and would require constant refilling.I did have a plumber stub a copper line from the house to the loft, with a shut-off valve,so that is available, but the right fixture is what I'm looking for,any suggestions??ALOHA,Todd

Todd.Unless they have changed the pop bottle style waterers I have used a 2 liter pop bottle.I haven,t used them for several years so they may have changed them.
I like the galvanized hooded waterers. You can build a box for it outside the loft and just the hood is inside where thay can drink. You never have to go inside to change water.I get mine from Foys Pigeon supplies. They have them in 3 different sizes I think.I use this kind in my big lofts also.David
