Let things be, don't be so anxious and things will happen. If they don't happen you will learn from the experience. When it comes to eggs, they are funny, what you think that is infertile is usually fertile and the opposite is true. Give them a chance and learn from it.

Ally, I agree, just give it time. Patience in this hobby is a requisite for success. Just the act of viewing eggs can cause them to be broken by defensive parents protecting the nest from intruders like someones hand reaching in. lol

I would check the eggs only after they should have hatched and avoid the nest until squabs are old enough to band. I have seen parents trample little squabs when they are bothered at this size too. FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Thanks chaps.

I will just relax and let the birds do the same. This is my first breeding season and am just anxious things are progressing. Another lesson learned. About the only wee ditty I remember from school,
Patience is a virtue possess it if you can, seldom found in women and never found in man!
