Has anyone ever heard of a strain called Cherry Bomb (like Fireball)?

Nick, I googled and didn't see any references at all. What do you know about them? Tony

I heard they came from either Dick Stephens or Tom Hatcher. I heard they are decent birds; decent performers.

I have them locked down right now. I changed my kit boxes and I am building the new kit boxes mounted on my breeder loft.

The weather kind of got me behind and out of step and I have to basically restart my program and training. I have some junk in need to cull, but I will be there in due time.

I will take you up on your offer as an associate member. Drop me a line and tell me what I need to do to achieve this.

Thanks,Nick

hi nick,
send me an email with your phone number and I will have your email to work with as well.
Also in your email tell me about your current bird situation; are you breeding? been out and about to see any other locals? what are you yearly breeding plans etc.. anything you might think would be interesting to know about your most recent roller activities. this is for the upcoming news letter you will have access too.

Spintight,

My phone number is 530-790-0908.

My breeding plans this year is to bring on fewer birds than last year. I have selected my breeders for this year and will stay with the birds I have. I have gotten behind on my plans and now it is catch up for me. Job worries have slowed me, but I am about to make a change to correct that.

Right now I have my birds locked down and I have had them locked down longer than I expected. It will take some time to get them back into shape and will have to retrain many. I have not culled as agressively as I should have so I have some of that to do as well but that is after I see them in the air for a little bit.

I also had a stroke that put me behind as well. The good thing is that I am going to fully recover. I was very lucky.

Guess what I am trying to tell you is that between the rainy weather, having a stroke, and having to deal with a crappy job I am running well behind my own schedule.

Hey Nick, Sorry to hear about the string of bad luck and I really am glad to hear that you are going to have a full recovery from the stroke. I hope this year gets better and I bet I can guess why the birds have been locked down. Other than the health issues the preditors have been preety rough this year but at least you will have some left to put in the air this spring. Good Luck and dont be a stranger. Joe Urbon

Nick

The Cherry bomb your are trying to find, is probably the name of one of the highest percentage hens that Dick stephens owns. It is the Hatcher family of birds.
