i just recieved my bands from foys and they are plastic ! i was just wondering what the roller guys think of plastic bands and will the markings ware off ? if anyone knows ?

I know of two kinds of plastic bands. The plastic coated bands that protect the info and I've recently read of a new plastic or composite band that has the info embedded into the material and it should never wear off. I think either one is fine. I like the plastics better than the aluminum bands because they are easier for an old fart like me to read. Dan
keith&dan thanks for info,these are IPB bands and they are composite. i just had not seen them befor&im still wondering if the markings will wear off ? the info appears to be etched in or on the plastic.
Ron.I had 2 problems with them.First I couldn't see the numbers unless I was under bright light.Second they will get poop in the etched numbers and it is a big hassle cleaning them out.They will hold up as any others.David
