Hello fellas
Do you guys clean nests or exchange the dirty nest bowl with a clean one during the first 20 days of squeekers , I put some rings on at about 5 days and the babys smelled pretty bad , I thought this is not good , probably wont hurt them as pigeons have been nesting in nests made of birds shit for years , its hot and humid where I live Australias equal to Florida and I worry about disease in these conditions .
Thanks Rod

Rod, what a lot of guys do, including myself is put two nest bowls in the nest box. This allows you to discard the previously used one when the pair goes to using the second one. If you are using paper bowls, cut a few dime-sized holes in the sides. This allows air to get in and around the bowl and helps to keep them dryer than without. Being in a humid climate does have some drawbacks when it comes to breeding season and messy, wet nest boxes obviously can be a problem. You can lift up the babies and replace the bowl if you like, after the babies are about 10-14 days old. Most parents won't mind. You can also toss in some shaving too to help absorb the dampness.
