Hi, this is a newbie question, but tomorrow night we are supposed to get down to 3 degrees Fahrenheit. Our coop is wood in back with chicken wire on the front. Do you think they'll be OK? They seem to have done well so far with 18 degrees.

Make sure and feed them up. Popcorn really gives them the BTU's to keep warm. As long as there is not a draft or dampness they should be ok. If it is a little windy you could try putting some boards over the chicken wire on the real cold nights. Just make the boards easy to remove. They should be fine if they are fed up and out of the wind.

Thanks Paul. Maybe we'll pop some corn today and see if they like it.

Roly Poly. Unpopped Bro. Just add some to the ration,it`ll be fine. Just drape a tarp or something over the front of your loft to cut the wind and your birds will be fine. No one takes special care of the underpass commies and they don`t fall off in birdcicles on you when you drive under the bridge.lol good luck Bro! ---------- Never watch your birds fly with your mouth open!
