I just want to use this space to thank those who have taken the time to report on their progress with the Ruby Roller strain! With some of the intentional misinformation that is spread in some backyards and Internet backwoods, I have come to really appreciate what it means to have good roller men of integrity and honesty to speak up more and more and correct some of these false rumors spread by envious individuals who I guess feel threatened by the influence and success of RPDC as we continue to place quality Birmingham Rollers into lofts throughout the USA and now starting to reach the world through exporting.

I can't acknowledge everyone here, but just know, I see and hear about your positive comments and really appreciate those that take the time to "have my back". A VERY HEARTFELT THANK YOU!

Tony, I have posted my love for and progress with your Ruby's yearly. I think you provide a good product for a reasonable price and your Ruby strain is a good start for newbies or experienced roller men alike. The people I have heard running their mouths in some cases never even held a Ruby much less flew or bred a kit of Ruby's! Is there a 100% success rate? Of course not, it takes work just like with any other strain, you provide a solid foundation on which to build. After that it is up to the manager.

Take care my friend
Thom

Your Ruby's are doing good here in So.Cal. I have 10 or so in my kitboxes that are pure and 4 that are crossed with the Apodaca Spangle line that are showing wonderful potential. The Ruby line are easier than most to manage also.

Tony I have a 2010 young bird Ruby cross with a Hardesty that I wouldn't sell for $500, this little bird is fast, tight 40 foot spinner, very frequent, shoots back to the kit like a rubber band is attached. She has been put away for safe keeping.------

Hi Tony. Do you have any children in the military. I have a Chavaria in my squadron at Travis and was just curious. Let me know.

We had one in my unit too, she went to Iraq with us. I think she got married and changed her mind. She was from CA. Hey, I wonder if we are talking about the same girl? Damn, I can not remember her first name. Cute girl by the way.

Tony i have ruby rollers .i'm flying every other day. Birds are kit flying for 20 minutes some times 45 minutes depending on my feeding system or my work schedule. Tony before i purchased my ruby rollers from you i knew nothing about the rubys but i heard alot about other roller bird familys.(Brick Red lofts)is my home for my rollers. Up date of the rubys are great so far i have a click pair of 2006 red cheqs.LPRC-93-903 is the grandfather of both these red cheqs, hen & cock.30 feet spins with quality & speed is what these red cheqs do every 40 seconds while kit flying.Getting back to the kit is hard work for these birds but they roll like this every time i fly them when it is (BOP)free in the skies .As the flying season come to a end on my flying schedule in other words when (Bird of Pray) is on deck .I'm locking my rubys down all four kits. HOW TO BREED BETTER ROLLERS is a great book i read it i did step by step and know i'm breeding better birds that roll together at the same time brother and. sisters and first cousins. they all have NBRC 95-644-D blood behind them(Black cheq) which is on my pedigrees.I only breed from the ruby blood it's only rite to say this for those who don't have ruby rollers red bars, redcheq /white flights.blue cheqs & blue bars.I get spin out of all colors from the ruby family .Tony i GOT YOU'R BACK.Back yard rollermen have patients.Thank you tony for you'r hard work ahd sharing of the ruby roller .

The point is simple. From coast to coast and outside of the continental U.S. Ruby's are doing the job. With beginners and returning oldfarts, it is money well spent for hard work wrapped in a ball of feathers.

Take care my friends

Hey Fou, you will get X - H - A Style in larger percentages of the better birds. Like with any family, you will get the full run from good to bad. Learn to pick the best and you get better percentages. I advertise 20 to 30 feet but like many here have found, they can go much deeper: 40 foot and more. I had one last season that rolled over 250 feet (lacked the quality and velocity the deeper it got).
