Given equal quality of depth, frequency, speed and body type among an assortment of patterns and colors of hens, what would be the outcome of bredding a Qualmond cock to these be? For example an ash-red check or a blue bar? What happens with Spread black, recessive red, Indigo or Andalusian? We want to Avoid Qualmond to Qualmond to avoid the lethal homozygous almond gene don't we?

Qualmond to Qualmond doesn't seem to have the lethal effects of almond to almond. However, the inheritance is the same. Qualmond is a sex-linked dominant so a qualmond hen to any other colored cock would produce all (heterozygous) qualmond cocks and no qualmond hen.

A qualmond cock mated to any non-qualmond hen would produce qualmond cocks & hens and non-qualmond cocks and hen (assuming a heterozgyous qualmond cock)

I'm not going to try to answer any spin question, since I don't know. homozygous Recessive red and qualmond would give you something approaching a Deroy in color, likely paler. Spread would give you spread Qualmond (similar to spread almond -- basically a light bird with black flecking, and in a qualmond spread I would expect very few flecks); with indigo and ash red you could get indigo qualmond and ash red qualmond, phenotypes pretty and unusual.)
