anon--please include your name next time.

I have three different families and I fly them together with no problems. As young birds they do fine together. After a year or so, one line likes to fly high and can be harder to break of it. But as young birds in their first year they do just fine together. I would say that flying all from the same family would be the best scenario, but it is not completely necessary. I have found that my always slow flying family, when they are the majority in the kit, do a great job of keeping the ones that want to fly high, down low and butterflying better. I prefer to keep them mixed, if I put all of the old Pensom line together they start flying high at a young age which I hate. Therefore I have found the family that prefers low flying has helped to teach them to stay a little lower.
Brian.
