Hey Tony I was wondering what happened to the testing of the egg shipping. I was waiting for some eggs. How did the other partakers do? Did the eggs hatch or not. I was just wondering if it work out?

John, there were a couple problems with the foam and shipping box. 1 set of eggs came out of the shipping box with a little moisture making the eggs a little sticky. Another set did not hatch and I was told the egg yolk looked alottle "scrambled".

When I first tried packing the eggs, one of them broke and I had to wash the foam. This may have still had moisture in it and so ruined the other set I put in it.

The second set, may have gotten knocked around during shipping, I also did not know if the box was put in a non-pressurized compartment and if this had anything to do with them not hatching.

I am hoping to ship some off to Hawaii soon and we'll see how that works out. The breeders have slowed down with the molt and I hope I can get a few going again in the next few weeks.

I still want to try as I many people have apparently done it successfully and I hate to give up...FLY ON! Tony Chavarria
