If you had to start all over again and couldn't get any birds from your current family, who would you you go to for quality birds that you have witnessed in the air?
Always a tough question to answer. I would do two things most likely. First would be to go back to Danny Horner and get as many as I could that are the same as my key breeders and fly them all to find the best ones to start over with. I would do the same thing by going to the various breeders I know with Norm Reeds stuff and fly as many as a can to find the one or two that could performance wise replace my Reed hen. I am a few years into making a family based on these two families and would have a hard time giving up as I am fond of the results so far. The second thing I would do is rob Scott for about three or four pair as I really liked what I saw at his place when I visited him. Between the two families I think I would be content. P.S.
