Well I've been kicking this around a bit. Talk is cheap and that is why I love these birds because once in the air they speak for themselfs. What do we have here ? we have athletes here that's what. So I say that it is time to prove it where it count's, and that is in the air,so here it is, I will fly against anyone of you and your color bird kits. The whole augument is whether these birds of mixed blood (is that a better term LOL) can stand up against the real deal so it's time to stand up and put it where it counts IN THE AIR, Dave you said that your color birds are as good as the best, do you want to prove it ? how about the rest of you ? the World Cup is the premier fly of the world so World cup rules, the judge to be an experienced judge that both agree on. Loser to pay the judges exspences. It's simple and there it is. lets have some fun and see whats out there

Does it really matter if it is a color bird or a check? If I pay the feed bill then I will breed whatever I like. It does no harm to anyone if I prefer the original colors or if I prefer some birds of color. What will a competition prove? Scott, what if your birds are flat on fly day? Will you be satisfied that the colored birds are better? I doubt it. or Mr color breeder, if your birds get hammered on fly day will you be convinced that Scott's birds are better? This can go on and on forever. If you enjoy the birds then do what ever pleases you. There is no rule that pigeons can only be bred a certain way is there? Why can't we all just respect each other for loving pigeons? This is getting silly.

Actually RD it doesn't matter to me in the least what anyone fly's but if anyone wants to proove how good thier color birds are here's the chance. I'm the under dog here as I have never once made a claim on how good my birds are. Not once, and here we are listening how good these color birds are. so all I'm offering here is a chance to prove it. actually RD I think it would be a blast. these are athletes, please lets have a taker on this one and have some fun with it. and no matter what happens no anomsity just good clean fun,we could even do a team event. Two color bird fliers and two fliers flying the standard color within in the breed.How ever anyone wants to play it.

You hit the nail on the head when you said "lets have fun". That's what it's all about when you look at the big picture. Aren't we are all in it for the fun? I think we can all agree on the answer to this question!

Hey Scott;
Dont be discouraged,I WON a fly a long time ago with 16 pts.
Everyone was D.Q'd except one and he had 12pts.LMAO.
Hey you should get some of my mongrels.They can fly over an hour in 100 degree weather.The heat doesn't seem to bother them. I can't fly here because the guys that control the qualifyers won't let me win.I haven't flown since 96.The fly was to be held Fri Sat Sun.When I had the top score,they had a fly on Mon.with only the judge and the co-ordinator.This guy had already flown his kit and didnt get much.Then he comes up with a score of 440 With another kit.Before that when they heard the score I had, they tried to get one of the other members(Who wasnt in the fly) to fly his kit.The judge said no.One of the guys that was at my place said I was a sure winner because he had seen his kits and he said they were crap.Then they put the winning fly in as being flown on Sunday.What a bunch of crooks.Thats why you don't see me in the flys.I don't believe in paying to get robbed.I had the highest score in the world at that time 230.4 with an outbird stopping the count at 15 minutes.Rod Fomby won it with 288.pts.These guys were afraid I would win it. Nothing to be discouraged about here Stan. I've have some very good flys and I've had some very bad flys and it's all just part of the game. I've gone into some flys with some very good kits and I've gone in knowing that a particular kit just wasn't there. To be honest with you Stan I don't get all that wrapped up on the fly's, I just put them up. I do what I can to get them right but once the door is opened it is up to them and I just pray that they will show at least part of their potential on that day. As for that Monday fly that you made mention of, I'm not going to comment on it as I wasn't there but it's worth mention that the by-laws state that the judge must have a score keeper and the flier can't scribe for his own kit. In other words there must be two people there other than the flier.
