What would cause watery poop? Have cock which is doing it for long time? Looks healthy and active. Thanks, -Rauf

Hi Rauf. This is a good question. Some of my breeders have watery poop. They are healthy and breeding very fast. I do switch them from pellets to feed, sometimes giving them both at the same time. I am in process of de-worming them with some pills I have that might be causing this problem. Maybe someone can help us out with this one. I keep my loft generally very clean and change the water 1-2 daily on breeders and kit birds.

Depends Rauf. Is he a breeder feeding youngsters? Some parents will consumer gobs of water while feeding seed to their youngsters. Never could figure out why these specifid birds will do it, even their offspring did the same thingw when bred from. High sodium intake will make them drink more water too, and of course, then shoot water like a squirt gun..lol. Have you noticed him eating a lot of grit? As long as the bile itself isn't watery too, doesn't sound like it is lethal since you said he is in good health.
Brian.

Doubt it. I have two pair that do the same thing, round after round, year after year. They are as healthy as they get and so are their youngsters. Sounds like your bird is related to mine...lol.
Brian.
