Thanks for posting, Ruaf. Since I'm new to all this, I'm looking for ideas on how to buile another loft to use as a breeding loft. This gives me some ideas.

Jeff, there are many little things to consider. But few big things that you must have are 1) Design the loft that YOU can easily clean 2) Good ventilation 3) Wire Mesh floor 3) Have a way to seperate hen and cock when not breeding(winter time). I specially have two fly pens for that purpose. VERY IMPORTANT:- try every afford that rain water never get in contact with droppings and never enter in your loft...

P.S. generally straw is not a good choice on the floor,bugs love it
