Hello Steve. I depends on the breeders you are using and the average time they themselves "came in" or the family/line "comes in". Your situation sounds fairly normal. I have 3 pairs in which squabs on average begin to actually spin as compared to tumble at about 3 months. In contrast I have another pair in which squabs begin at about 5 - 7 months. It mostly depends on the parents. ---------- AD3 Online Loft @ http://ad3rollers.no-ip.com

Steve, are these young birds or adult? Are they all from the same family or a mixture? If from the same family, go ask the the person you obtained them from and ask how long does it take for his family to come into the roll?
AD3 is correct to say it all depends on the parents. I have offspring from my 994 foundation cock and they take longer to come into the roll, can be months longer to see any real action. This is what I have found when I breed back to my Homer Corderre stuff. FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

they are just about 3 to 3 1/2 months old they have been flying for about 2 months averyday and i have a second kit in which they have been in the air for a month and are about 21/2 months old and have more action than the older ones some are spinning upto five and ten feet and these are from the same parents the birds i am breeding from are jaconettes and pensoms from reeds birds.
