Have any of you ever heard of spraying turpentine inside your loft or cages to kill mites and any other pest living in the wood??? of course this would be done after you remove the birds first...then wait for a day then return the birds...

I would not recommend using turpentine over an insecticide. Why not try Liquid Permethrin? It can be sprayed over the loft and rid the problem in a short order. It is what is recommended by Dr David Marx DVM. FLY ON! Tony Chavarria
