I have had 3 cocks in last week start setting on bottom of kit box they turn head over to side then turn 1/2 way around upside down can't put up right can't fly- what is the problem have culled all 3 sprayed pens with Clorox and water solution 1 cap to a gallon of water any thing else I can do----------

That's a very good link that Nick gave you .. go and carefully check it out. Cocci is certainly a possibility but so are PMV and paratyphoid. Go do your homework and do please realize that not all illnesses deserve death to the bird.

My personal guess for the illness in your birds would be paratyphoid. It's treatable. You really need to find out what the problem is. You can kill all your ill birds or take an ill or dead one in for testing and perhaps save all the rest by knowing what is wrong.

You have rodents are getting into your kitboxes at night. You need to get rid of them ASAP, otherwise, your problems will get worse as time goes by and you will be wiped out.

Paratyphoid is the most common illness with pigeons. Most often brought on by either rodents or a carrier parent. Treat the parents with baytril and clean and disinfect the lofts. good luck. Joe
