What do you mean by "pop and glide"?? You mean like them clapping their wings and then gliding??

From what I heard about clapping wings and gliding is that only cock birds do this when they are sexually mature. It could be trying to impress a hen.

Comies may also spread diseases and external parasites to your birds.

My young birds clap and glide when they are learning to roll or will clap and tail ride. Not sure they are being taught anything but rather do it as that is the nature and behavior typical of a pigeon. Thats just my thought on the matter.

Gentlemen, thanks for your information. Thanks for the welcome PR ROLLERS. I have remove the birds and relocated them in a different kit, it seems to help.

I remove wing clappers for that very reason. I am assuming that is what you are referring to by "pop and glide". They are generally cock birds who have things on their mind other than rolling.

Usually they are overfed. Cut the feed down and they will correct their action.
