I have an old cock (95) that was fairly consistent last year. I put him in a breeding cage and got two rounds of nothing. I have moved him back into the semi open loft. I was told by one person to pull the feathers from him and the hen to expose the genitalia area. Another person said to trim the area. Which is best?? and how big of an area are we talking about. I have never flown him but have been told that he has good "type." I don't want to buy pills because I have been told that I have other cocks that are just as good'

Donnie. I try that. I didn't like the though of pulling the feathers because I can only think that it hurts the bird. If that doesn't work then maybe a stimulant.
