I have seen that happen a few times, and have just let them be. It always seems to work out, at least it has with the pairs I have seen do that. I have a cock that routinely wants to sit the eggs at night and refuses to let the hen sit, they end up sitting together in the bowl. Probably just a parenting hormone overload, which if the babies are hatching is fine because he will feed them just as she would. Just check them for the first few days to make sure they are getting fed. If you feel uncomfortable about him doing that you can always pull him out in the evenings and let her sit, then put him back in the morning. Good luck. Brian.
