I don't know if there is a good time in Cal., but the best time to have the convention would be when they have the least amount of losses.Maybe no one volunteered the east part of the country. It takes a lot of work and help to do one....

Steve,

The reason that the convention is on the West Coast again is because of last year. Last year it was supposed to be the Mountain West...Utah area...but they could not do it...so Sacramento picked up the ball and planned the convention on real short notice.....so this year was supposed to be the West Coast because we follow the Mountain West in the rotation.....so all we are doing is staying on the NBRC rotation. The only reason it was West Coast last year is because nobody else would do it and time was a wasting.....

So we are just back on the Normal Convention rotation.

Paul has stated the truth, Utah wasn't ready for the task so Sacramento took on the job for the rockies. And for it being here this year, we spoke up for it and we got it. Myself and Ricky have been to 8 convetions in all our first one was.
San Jose C.A. then
New York, east coast,
Illinois, central,
Calorado, rocky,
Washington, Oregon, west coast
North Carolina, again east coast,
Texas, central,
Sacramento, west coast, took over for rockies
And now here in Los Angeles CA, for 2010
That seems to be about even that it can be. We enjoyed everyone of them, and was a pleasure meeting the people you would only read and here about. I look forward to every convention that comes along, and every one of them was a blast to attend, we will try our best to make it as memorable as the past conventions were, so those are the dates its plenty of time to make your plans to attend.

This is the best time for So-Cal for numerous of reasons, not the best time i know for some but its the best for us.

Paul thanks for the info the other night, helped out BIG time again thanks. A.Cano

At least three of us from MN are coming. I lucked out today and got a round trip Delta flight out of Des Moines, IA for $218. 94 degrees with a dew point of 78 here today, looking forward to cool LA. Wayne

A few more weeks to go and the convention will be in full affect. Get your tix and hotel room while they are hot. This will surely be a good time out west for the second year in a row. See everyone there.
