Obedient, tight kitting, small to small medium in size, tight fast spin. You will get more short than deep. They bust loose for big breaks,a real chemistry.Add 5 to a kit you will improve it overall. That's been my experience after 8 years....Aloha,Todd

530,
Are you sure the bird is from Dave's family? Does it have one of Dave's personal bands?

530,
Did not get an e-mail from you, send one again or we can communicate on RollerWorld.
Where did do get the bird from? Does it have Dave's band or a HFRF band on it? What color is the bird? Just curious.....

well to my understanding of where the bird came from it was purchased by some guy who bought a pair from dave a while back but now the hen is deceased n still got the male. he got out of the hobby n gave it away n i happend to get my hands on it and yes the bird does have his personalized band on with his name and club name..

There are many people who have Daves birds in N Calif. Ger and those in the HFRF club. Also Dave gave a pair to Miguel who put the pair in the NCRC 2 years ago and they sold for $170 at the ncrc auction. But the guy actually wanted the a pair from Joe Urban so he brought the pair back last year and they sold for $150. The guy was happy. I asked him what he thought of the birds. He said they were fine but just wanted his money back. He flew out the squeakers and kept them but sold the pair. This same guy won the kit box at the ncrc auction.

John Henderson ( not related to Dave H ) had a couple of pairs and a few cocks directly from Dave Henderson. He gave them to a guy Mike in our club and Mike is selling all his birds and there might be some of Daves birds for sale in the ncrc auction in March? I will have to check with John and see if he still has them available. I know he will have some banded Kumero birds and hopefully some of Dave Henderson birds also?

I have a pair from Dave Henderson and I like them. I would never sell them as they were a gift to me as was a pair from Joe Urban. I will keep them raising squeakers and the originals will always be here until they die, because I like them and they were a gift to me from friends.

I am not promoting whealing and dealing on this site but just to let you know there will be a NCRC acution and roller show March 27th and since you are local 530flyer you might be interested. Wasn't you into ground rollers a few years ago? I might have the wrong guy for the ground rollers? Bill C

Bill C,
thanks Bill C. well, i knew a few peeps in HFRF but they got out of the hobby a while back. i think you mistaken me for another 530flyer. And i agree with you that those birds are the birds we never want to give away because you cant put a price on special birds as they came as a gift.

Bill C, when is ncrc hosting their convention this march?
