Jeff. Can you tell us more about this product. I have a few old cocks I would love to put the juice back in them. Sounds like you have had some success with this? Thanks, Don M. Mac's Rollers LVRC

Don sorry i haven't answerd you .i didn't know anyone else had posted on this thread.True story my friend Bob was given 9152 direct son of shooting star he was 17 yr's old and a very good roller him self and reproduced just as good or better you know how rare that is. the fellow that gave him to Bob said he had put him on three diffrent hen's with no luck.Bob took him home kept him till breeding season .he put him on Imuno boost. put him with a very nice three year old hen she hatched nine out of ten eggs that season.they then changed from liquid to powder called avia charge 2000 the next season at 18 yr's old he produced eight more young. so we belive in this product .and it is the reason today i have birds that are as close to old star as they are.Don as you know i would use younger hens on old cocks .of course i can't guarantee anything but it worked for us we have another old cock with some old blood that reproduced good and he will be on avia charge 2000 this year. i wish you the best of luck Don hope this helps. Wow Jeff 18 yrs old and producing .how are the young doing .I read somewhere can't remember what book it was that its best to breed and get youngs from birds that are 3 to 5 yrs old than from old birds.so I'm curious.

Thanks Jeff. I have had more then one person tell me why would you want to breed out of such an old bird as if it is that old you should have something around out of it that is as good or better. When I acquired my original rollers indirectly from Doug Ouellette (long story) many were 8 to 12 years old. These birds bred into their early teens with no problems and no help from me as I knew nothing about rollers and breeding. I have a few old cocks that I have not used to their potential as I wasted them by being a rookie and going different directions without knowing what I originally had was gold when it comes to quality of spin. So maybe I will get a reprieve for my lack of experience and squeeze a few young out of them. I have proven young hens of the same blood but exceptional cocks are harder to come by, at least in my program. i'll try this stuff and let you know how it works. My old Hugo Blaas cock bred until he was 18 with no help except good food, grit, and a little Pigeon Builder. I appreciate your sharing this product with us. I know there are no garauntees but won't know unless I try.
Enjoy your next fly! Don M. Mac's Rollers LVRC

This product works great.I had a old cock that hadn't fertiled a egg after 4 rounds. I used the Avia charge for one week and he fertiled the very next round.I gave him 2 pills during the week. I put a twist on the way I treat the birds since the product is a water soluble powder I put some into small gel caps. This helps to save a lot of the product because the water has to be change every day and you use one 1tbs. to a gallon of water. It also helps with health of your young birds and the stress they face when weanig.I also noticed that the birds don't eat as much feed which helps on the feed bill. The birds are just healther over all.It works wonders on all birds that aren't fertile.
