I was outside cleaning my lofts one morning when I noticed a lot of bees
on the side of my chimney. They are 8
ft above my breeder cages and are not the Africanized bees you hear about.
So far, the bees haven't stung anyone
including my 2 dogs. I just leave them alone and they don't bother me.
Has anyone experienced any bees in their yard?

Well, I worked as a beekeeper for about 3 years when I was a young man lol. I would get in contact with you local beekeeper and have him come and get rid of the swarm. He willl usually take the bees and use the whole swarm in a hive for himself. You are lucky that nobody has been stung. A swarm is a bunch of worker bees that follow a queen out of the hive. The queen usually leaves because there is another queen in the hive. It is either leave or fight to the death. Swarms are usually very unpredictable because they usually are pretty hungry and they are out in the open(no enclosed hive). They will protect the queen at any cost. Also, If one bee stings you they let out a phermone that gets all the other worker bees in the protection mode . So take my advise let a beekeeper smoke the crap out of them(get them stoned) and cage the swarm. The left over workers will usually leave or just die..there life expectancy is only about 3 weeks...they work themselves to death. There is no way to tell if they are African bees unless you capture one and look at it through a magnifying glass...and only a trained eye can tell between the two. If they were Africanized bees they would attack you at the blink of an eye and keep attacking. They are like hornets.
