I will step up to the plate and help when needeed. I would like a list and phone numbers of all the active members in NCRC. Hey Paul lets have the meeting within the next month. So if we get a date I can start calling the guys up. I know I missed a couple of meetings but I promise I will not miss another. Lets all start making our club fun again.

Hi Will and Larry. I will mail each of you a copy of the new members list with phone numbers on them. If I have time, I will put the new list in the bulletin or the new bulletin guy can do it.

Just realize that most people who fly in competition are the ones that participate in most all events and the rest love their birds as well but do not have time or take time to do anything else.

I really think either of you will make a great President for our club after Paul. It is not uncommon for fairly new guys in our club to help out and you both are super kool dudes for your passion for the sport. I just hope you guys don't get burnt out, if you see a lack of interest in efforts. Maybe I should stop with the way I have experienced things and just hope for the best. I do need 14 months off right now for most things but I will support you guys where I can. Thank you both. You can alway submit an article how you would like to see the club work and suggestion for events and use the local bulletin to promote your club.

If you ever want to have a fun fly or single bird fly and make it fun with out paying cash to fly, go for it! I am all for the club paying for Pizza or BQ ribs or hamburgers after your fly. THe club has some money and you guys are entiltled to use some of it for your ideas. Just run it past Paul as president and there you go. ( I do think Paul will like us to focus on the roller show as the next event but you have all spring, summer and fall to do things. You have my support.

Only a few guys read on here from the ncrc and you know who they are. So use the bulletin once you have gotten figured out what you want to do or are going to do. Good luck guys! Bill C

Hi Kham, I have put a copy of the Nov bulletin in an envelope addressed to you. It will go out monday with my other bills in the mail. I promise or I will owe you $100.

There has not been a bulletin since November 2009, because a lack of people sending in articles. I am trying to get someone to take it over soon. There will be a bulletin this month or Feb as soon as the bands are in to let the club members know they are in. That is all I have for the bulletin right now. I will throw in some news about the Sec treasuer job and maybe a letter from our new President Paul Fullerton.

Thanks Tony for letting us use this to air our (not too dirty laundry) here. These posts can be deleted later on since they do not need to be saved for any lenth of time. Anyway club members have to submit material for the bulletin as I have taken articles from here like the Ken White article and put it in our bulletin. I have done this for more than two years with little help from the ncrc members. I dont have time to find article on the web anymore. I fix home made meals for my boys as that is what I like to eat and tonight we had home made enchaladas from the left over baked chicken I cooked yesterday. All I do is laundry, cooking, and cleaning all the time. But I love my boys and they love to eat and make messes! LOL. OK enough complaining. See this is what I have for the bulletin. We need roller pigeon information and not my personal life. RIGHT!

It will be in the mail Kham. Sorry I did forget. But not this time. Bill C

Hey Booker, Rex was a great roller man and more. Most of these guys here on this post did not know him. Rex called me a few days before his surgery ( he needed heart surger from a valve that needed replaced) he told me once he had a pig valve? Anyway I wished him well, he said the same doctor that operated on him was doing the surgery and he was glad he had gotten all that experience now. Well Rex did not survive the surgery. We all missed him and was shocked has heck.

At Rex's funneral a truck load of 500 pigoens was released and then all the NCRC members in attendance were given a white homing pigeon for the dove release and we all threw them up saying, "EYES SKYWARD"! that was Rex's trade mark if you will. ( that is why Booker said that at the end of his post above for you newer ncrc members) Then a thunderclould overshowded us and it began to rain, soon it clear up with in a minute or two and the pigeons in the sky 100s of them flew in the rainbow homebound. It was a sight to see.

I found an old article from Red about how to open a feed sac. He used to get so frustrated and rip it open with a knife or scissors but one day he figured it out it was so easy to just pull these two strings apart.LOL I think most of us already new that but for the one guy who was still using a knife too, He made pictures of the strings and put it in the bulletin. He made jokes about hiding all those empty feed sacs from his wife as she could add up the money if she counted them.

Well he will be remebered for a long time. A generous, kind man who kept the club on it toes. BIll C
