I want to wish everyone a Merry Xmas...and if you dont celebrate Xmas I wish you a Happy Holiday!
Although I am on duty today and tomorrow...my XMAS is on the 26th..my kids hate me for it..LOL!! They have to wait an extra day...life of the firefighter...I pray for no calls this set...
I just want to let everyone know how happy I am to be friends with all of you. This site to me is like family..except I can shut your asses off when I want to..LOL!!
All kidding aside....I hope everyone has a great Xmas and a great year. This time of year is the time to look back and a time to give. A time to be thankful for what you have and to give all you can for the next year. This year was tough on ALOT of people because of the economy...I feel 2010 is the year of recovery!! So buy up Alcoa Stock....its ready to take off..>LOL kidding..kind of...LOL..
I just want to say that believe it or not... I went through my bad divorce in 07....Roller-Pigeon.com was a place that I could actually leave the real world for awhile during my bump in the road. I also had more emails and phone calls from members of this site then the friends I see day to day...but I since recoved and 09 is a year for me to remember....
I married the most wonderful woman in the world ....I have a baby on the way....my sons are healthy and doing well....I landed on my feet with the divorce....met my wifes family in the Phillipines...had a great LAST hunting trip with my father this year.....he is 82 and hung up the gun....so this year was a very special time for me to connect with new family and my Father....although my WC fly and Fall fly Finals was jacked up because of my new family and my father...but I got over it...LOL....KIND OF...Kidding...So I just want everyone to know...that you keep positive and just fly some birds when times are tough..you will always see light at the end of the tunnel.
Again..have a Merry Xmas...now everybody...siiiileeeent night....hoooooooly night....allllllll is callllllmm

Merry Christmas to you too, I remember when I used to have to work on Holidays at the college I worked at , man those were some long nights and days, very quiet .
Paul by you working at U.C,Davis do you guys respond to all calls sourounding the college like the freeways, private homes ETC , or only to calls on the Campus ?
Anyway be safe and try to enjoy the holiday .

We have automatic aid with the City of Davis so our Truck responds to all structure fires in the City...we have auto aid with West Sacramento, Woodland and Dixon too..but those are for 2nd alarm or better. We do have a section of I-80 as well as State Hwy 113....we average about 1100 calls a year. Have a merry Xmas!!

You are indeed a class act. Thank you and the firefighters and police officers all over the country for the invaluable service you provide. Merry Christmas to you and yours, sounds like the light has come back into your life and you are extremely happy about it. God Bless

Paul thats cool you were there with your dad on his last hunt.There is nothing like spending a day in the woods with pops.Mine is 70 and still out there.

Hi Paul, I was not around for Christmas so Happy new year to you and the rest of the roller nuts on here! yes I am one too.
I did it the other way Paul, we had Christmas a day early so the boys got to play with their new DSI a day before Christmas.
Note: Besure to wear your gas mask after the fires. I saw on news that three fireman in the same fire house all had gotten cell carsonoma cancer from the plastics and furnisture and household stuff that burn in a house fire. I'm sure you are aware of this but it was news to me how dangerous chemicals can be from our garage and house hold items. We want you around and healthy for a long time. I believe they said some firemen dont wear the mask after the fire when the fire is still smoldering and that is what they all did. None of them died, they lost a body part and survived. All of them three with losing an organ and one was just diagnosed and had not had surgery or treatment.
By the way, I was in Woodland Raleys market and saw two firman and one firewoman, SO I asked them, " Do you know Paul Fullerton"? they said yes we sure do. So I told them to tell him, " A pigeon Guy said Hi". I figured they would forget my name but could remeber a pigeon guy. LOL See ya BIll C
