Respiratory infections are just that, an infection which requires an antibiotic to battle it. Homopathic treatment would be futile, though I am sure there are some who have tried it. Respiratory infections are contagious and can be spread through the water. It is wise to not only treat the individual bird, but the loft or kit box in which it was in just to be safe. Baytril is the strongest and suited for serious cases while Aureomycin is a good general respiratory infection antibiotic. Brian.
