Not sure about the Bay area region Chuck, but us in the N. Calif and the N. Central Regions bombed out, this kit that I've been flying just hasn't come together this year, and now I'm banging my head on the wall trying to figure out what to do about it,I think that it's a combination of giving the team time to gell as a team and also the mechanics of the team it's self needs adjustment,as it is now it's a kit of birds and not a team of birds, the good flys as well as the bad flys are all just part of the game and humility is an all to common part of competing with these birds,I may be holding my head low and licking my wounds now but I'll be back next playing the game next year as I'm a real glutton for punishment LOL LOL

Hello Scott, Sorry about the fly but as you say there is always next year.
Scott are all your kit birds young birds this season or are they a mix?
as you can tell by my post I really am not up on weather you fly a young bird team or an old bird team.
When you fly the W/C is it a young bird or old bird fly and what is the deffrence in the performance between to two.
I hope to get up and see you this summer and take a look at the way you are set up. Best of luck Chuck

Chuck this kit is about 50/50 between youngbirds (03),and oldbirds 2-6 years old, that wasn't by choice,Spring before last I had a disasterous year as far as oldbird losses, actually the team I have now has the potenial to be a good team once they mature into a team, basicly what they are doing is just a lot of rolling but showing little teamwork,I've been moving a lot of birds around in the attempt of building the team,as far as oldbird vrs youngbird, yea gimme an oldbird team anyday, some families excell as youngbirds team, these are generally "hot" birds but have a tendancy to fall apart in the second year, the birds I have are the complete opposite, but I must admit I like a couple of "hot" pairs just for quick early developers for the team when needed, even if they do fall apart,a family of them would drive me nuts though,it sucks having a good spinner fall apart on you,let alone many of them.
