List, I would like to hear YOUR views on the requirements you set as a breeder of the Birmingham Roller before you put them in the stock loft as breeders. Steve S.
Consistant good kitting...flying the time without dropping early. I like depth in the roll as well as tightness and speed of roll, no sloppy tumbling. I like to see frequent rolls...every minute or few times per minute. Overall good health of the bird.

I look for these Primary Traits in large measure before I consider them for my stock loft:
1 Roll 2 Velocity 3 Depth 4 Control 5 Type

Beyond this I look for quality of the performance, the ability to stay with the kit and be part of the team, group action, alertness and vitality.
