The leader:
How to start this, hum--I know the leader is this bird the bird ( cock or hen)in the front?( i watch my birds close but they seem to turn then someone eles is in the lead. Or does this bird fly on the out side and corral them like a good sheep dog?
Well the lead bird must be hard to detect beacuse i cant find it.
Is there any way to detect this bird easily?

One way that works, Rubbing alcohol and food coloring.Take a left wing open it wipe mixture with a rag on it and next bird go right wing next both wings next tail next vent area. Do all that over again with another color. I like red then green PS use rubber gloves. write down what bird has what color and where. You should fined out who is your kit leader.
