I cant really aswer your Question about your birds and what they will do after the molt because it depend on the way your family of bird were cultivated some come in at 2 weeks some at 2 years That just how it is I like mine at 6 mths but do that happen no They just come as they feel over here..
But here are bird ussally get better after the moult they feel better no more feathering pain the weather is nice younster become teenagers gone thru puberty the spin is indeed more crisped but guess what at the same time the FALCON feels the same way.......And that what its not good to feel to good around here !!!

Yeah the moment you begin to feel good the BOP show up
I am not running scared of the SOB BOP anymore you know i put my best spinners away and fly the rest everyday the BOP showwed up for a week chaseing the birds but they could not catch them.The pigeions are smater eventually he left have not seen him for a while.
