my hen laid eggs about 13 days ago i look at them today and they look like hard boiled eggs is this a bad sign

Hold them over a flashlight out in the dark tonight and if they have an air pocket at one end of the egg which is easy to see the light through,they are probably good.At 13 days you shouldn't see much light through the egg except at the one end where the air is.
