I am not refering to a bird that hurt itself.
Have you ever noticed a kit came out and they are all flying with their tails closed. One feather tails?
When they do fly like that they do not perform at all or very little.
Anybody with this experiace and what whould the reason be?

oh i see.. when there tails are closed..they are flying in a straight sort of line because they dont need there tail to guide them

I've had this problem before but It's only like on 1 or 2 of my birds. i would also like to know why?

Ive had a bird do this also on occasion and i havnt got a clue.
