will it take to have my pair mate its been 5 days they seperated but they still fight once in a while is this good that they dont fight as much or r all rollers always this calm?

no they r together i seperated them its just that they dont fight eachother unless they get close to eachother!!! but not as much anymore!!!

Silent first make sure their male and female. sometimes it takes them a while before they mate. I had them take as long as week and other times about 1 hour. I founded easier to mate when you had the hens and cocks separated for at least a couple of weeks. At this time you have them paired up, mated, lay, raise the squabs and fly all at the same time.

I've been raising rollers along time and I still sometimes try to mate to cocks or two hens. you get a hen thats pretty cocky, or a cock that is to timid, and they can be hard to tell. I did it this year, figured it out when they laid 4 eggs... LOL
