hey fellow rollermans...im just wondering if a hen or cock that cant roll....that is paired up with one that can roll....will they produce rolling rollers??or is it a 50/50??or no chances of it rolling???

if the one that doesnt roll is a roller, then the young may roll but not always.

lemme take a shot at this one...I wouldn't breed um...you'd be going backwards, but u may get roll out of the youngsters, but I wouldnt do that

ohh...what do you mean by backwards??sorry im still a newbie at this hobbie and currently got some nice looking rollers...but not sure of strain...so yeah...also im just a kid that needs info...im just breeding for flying in the backyard...

your chances of gitting stiffs are way greater breeding out of a stiff. Best to Best is the only way to breed.

not sure...im from MN though...but might need to save and get some good bird...i wants some that will roll early...like 2-3 months...thats what i heard that will be better....because im not patient to wait so long to see a group fly and roll....also what strain will come into roll early??

Coming into the roll early can make unstable birds so this might not be best for you.My advice would be play with what you have for a while get your basic handling skills down, handling and feeding being the main to work on.It is real easy to ruin good birds so unless you have quite a few extra bucks it's going to be hard to get good birds until youve been around a little while-some of these guys have put the majority of their life into their birds and there not eager to see them ruined by inexperence.Stick around a while , be patient,makes some friends, find a flyer near you and go visit and itll give you a idea what you want. This want happen overnight, but a rollerman that trust you can put you many years ahead in starting your family.
