I got a question, Right now I got a pair of roller that i want to foster from them. They're taking care of their two little ones right now and is almost ready to leave the parents. I got three pairs of foster parent for the roller pair. And my ? was, is it better to separate the roller pair for a while before I begin the fostering process? like the foster parents seems very excited to mate whenever they see one another and i was worried that the roller pair might take a longer time to mate. any advice...or how would you manage it?

When I use to foster alot I would put the pairs at the same time. But just 1 pair of foster they usually laid very close to each other. Then ones you foster those eggs they will laid again in around 8-10 days. So you put the 2nd pair of foster 3 days after you foster the first set of eggs. And usually around the same time again, you do the same thing again. You let the main pair hatch the last set of eggs.

You don't have a problem withing 5 days of difference of laying from the fosters to the main pair.
