General it all comes from the same basic gentic code.Some tumbler will produce rollers and some rollers will produce tumblers.I have seen flying tumblers become dangerous performers on limited amount of feed and water as the same with rollers and excess feed over a long time will make them do next to nothing but fly for a long period of time.

I think maybe it would take a long time and lots of inbreeding for a tumbler to produce a real good Roller that kits,rolls nice and tight and flys the time.

I'd all ways thought they were one of the same. From the same family of pigeons, just a different breed.

Nothing wrong with tumbling when low and ripping clean deep rolls up high.
