This is for serious roller guys only!
I heard that Sam Guiterrez had some outstanding white selfs that are pure 318 Smith Rollers.
I don't know Sam Guiterrez or much into his birds. The last time I can recall some good whites for sale was a fella named Platz in Poway, California. Came across Mr. Platz in a 1980's American Pigeon Journal Magazine advertisement.
Does anyone out there know of Sam Guiterrez pure #318 Smith Rollers?
NOTE: Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Silvertail where are you located?
Are you in Southern California?

I thought that was you! For heavens sake I gotta cut back on the Cognac!!
My wife is dragging me to church in Sacramento this Sunday. She says I need to get the HOLY GHOST.
....well anyway
You gotta hook me up. All those trophies I saw in your garage tells me you are for real about these performing rollers. My wife was telling her friends at work about your birds (especially your parlor roller). One of her girlfriends at work has a brother in the AARC with roller pigeons.
Hey... I still want to get those V-perches from you. I'll send you an email soon.
How's Kevin McCray doing with those white homing pigeons?
I hear the Dove release business is boooming in California and other parts of the Pacific northwest.
...also
When is the last time you talked to Dennis Hayes of Idaho?
I need to give Dennis an email. I might be flying out his way in a year or two. My wife has a long-time girlfriend who married a rich guy and they moved to Idaho (roughly 20 miles from Dennis) about 5 years ago. Big plot of land my wife friend has. The house is sitting on 3 acres. Now that's what I'm talkin `bout! It would freakin be "ROLLER HEAVEN" if I had 3 acres.
...but
I ain't doing too bad with my .67 acre lot. (smile)
{P.S.} Efren will tell you that once I get started I can't stop. Hope I didn't say too much. I'm seriously thinking about writing a book!
Holla...

Silvertail you `da man!
I'm just a guppy in a pool full of sharks he...he...he...
You talking score sheets now. Oh boy..., let me go outside and look at my birds and start praying for them.

Because the way my birds have been flying lately, they are going to need all the prayer they can get!
2 years ago I thought I had it made in the shade. I mean I really thought I had the _hit.
...but
Moved to my 3rd place since I last saw you and things just haven't been the same with my breeding program. Maybe I need to give my rollers some bird steroids in order to get'em back to that 60ft stuff I like to see in the air.
Gotta go and make this dinner for my wife.
Talk to you later Silvertail...

Marcus (Deep spin lofts} this has nothing to do with your thread. I was reading your comment about Rich guy in Idaho with three acres and laughed. You are used to California man. I live in Washington right next to Idaho. I have 10 acres and a huge house and out buildings and I paid $80.000 dollars for it and I didn't steal it. You have to get something for having to live in this weather. LOL. Good luck with your rollers. Ron

Well Ron in WASHINGTON it looks like you have done really well for yourself my good man.
NOTE: The American dream comes in many forms. Some people work hard all their lives being farm laborers, janitors, waitresses, maids, dishwashers, gardeners or some other unskilled laborer and end up living in tiny apartments.
...while
Other folks are fortunate enough to be born into wealth. Many of them receive lavish gifts and live off the fat of the land on large estates.
MEMO: There are three ways by which an individual can get wealthy - by work, by gift, and by theft. And clearly the reason the workers get so little is that the beggars and the thieves get so much.
Take care Ron....

You missed the point. I am a laborer making wheel chair ramps for low income elderly people. The point being that in L.A. I couldn't afford the small apartment but up here in the nasty weather for six months of the year a guy can afford more. But its still tough with both working and looks like it will be getting tougher. Ron
