I have a big problem! Last year I only bred about 6 birds one of which was a male and the other five were hens. This year I have switched feed, and have bred 20 birds since November 26/07! The funny thing is, I am almost 100% sure that 19 of the 20 are all male and I have only bred one hen. My loft is being overrun by the cocks! lol.. I dont know what to do? Could it possibly be the feed or what the heck is going on? ---------- Andrew

Andrew,i highly doubt that feed plays any role whatsoever in the percentages of cocks or hens produced in any loft!

Hey Andrew, Somtimes young hens will act like young cocks. What method are you using to sex them?

Geez, I wish I can breed more hens from my line. The Cock genes are way to strong in my family of birds. Hens are very RARE, even RARER then Champions. Well, I'll take that last statement back :(
