I have a bird that I noticed that the skin around the eye looks to be swollen. The eye is not watery and she feels a little light. What do you think this could be?

Possible infection. Just keep putting eye drops and maybe some antibiotics would help. Hope this helps.

A lot of times dust gets underneath the eye lid and causes the infection, but whats weird is that the eye on your bird is not red or irritated looking.

I had some birds last year that one eye would swell up but they would get watery! I diagnosed it as the one-eye cold, not sure though! Started wiping out my young birds! Spread like fire! Tried a few different meds, but nothing touched it until I use a combination of Tetracycline in the water and a couple of drops of baytril down the throat for about 5 days! Finally beat it!

If I ever suspect it in a bird again, I will cull it immediatly! JMO

I have no idea if this has anything to do with what your bird has, but be careful! I tried to half arse medicate for it and it nearly wiped out my whole kit box! Keep it quarentined until you know!
