a whistle or a can filled with a few rocks (got the can idea from my neighbor); shake the can or blow the whistle everyday before feeding them for 1-2 weeks. Then they will get used to it; "hey I know that noise, it is food time.....oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaahhhh!!!"

It doesn't matter how old they are.Keep them hungry and start training them to the whistle. It'll work!

Just like Luis said, keep them hungry and whistle when feedding them. This way they know when you whistle it's time to eat.
