This is a prototype of the the nestfronts I am going to build for my loft.
Its 14x24. The door is 4 1/2 wide.I designed it so the door locks in and doesn`t require a stop. In theory there isn`t a front or back to it, but I would put the nail side in. The pigeons don`t care.
Need a sand and one more coat of paint. Still pretty nice.

Thanks guys,
I think I am going to add a access panel directly to the nest. Imagine another solid 16 inches added to the length of the front. It covers the actual nest. I can remove the panel and look directly at the nest without reaching thru the door of the nest box.
I can also cut the nest front down to 12x20 if needed to fit the opening.
I think I can build all 12 in one weekend. Anyone want to come help and learn a little something about building pigeon stuff??
